The Intimus S16.50 is an industrial shredder that is designed for ease-of-use, and high volume performance. It has an integrated large capacity (16 cubic feet) mobile (on casters for easy emptying) waste container made of durable melamine covered wood. It is designed for easy operation with a conveyor belt feed system, a 20-inch wide feed opening, easy to use/understand controls and an automatic anti-jam function.  An optional automatic oiler is recommended for cross cut models. 

The high power, thermally protected 7.5 KW geared electric motor guarantees optimum cutting performance via the wear resistant, high grade steel cutting rollers. Simple operation with clear function displays: foil keyboard and operational status display as well as master and key switches.

The 16.50 comes with a variety of cutting mechanisms and can handle files of up to 420 sheets at a time. The microprocessor control reacts to an overload by automatically initiating forward/reverse movement to separate the material for shredding prior to entering the cutting mechanism. Extensive, VDE/GS approved safety systems are provided for all functions to protect the operator and the machinery. Practical capacity of 2250 pounds per hour. 16 cubic foot catch basket.
