Factory WarrantyIntimus Personal Shredders: Martin Yale Industries, Inc. warrants all shredders to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use. 1 year parts and labor Intimus Commercial Shredders: Martin Yale Industries, Inc. warrants all shredders to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use. 3 years parts and labor Intimus Industrial Shredders: Martin Yale Industries, Inc. warrants all shredders to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use. 1 year parts and labor Intimus High Security Shredders: Martin Yale Industries, Inc. warrants all shredders to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use. 1 year parts and labor Special extended coverage is outlined in the following categories:Personal Shredders: Cutting Cylinders are warranted to be free of defects for (5) five years Commercial Shredders: Cutting Cylinders are warranted to be free of defects for the life of the shredder Industrial Shredders: Cutting Cylinders are warranted to be free of defects for (5) five years High Security Shredders: Cutting System components are warranted to be free from defects for (1) year This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accident, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Particle Cut, Crosscut and High Security Crosscut shredders require lubrication and reversing as directed in the Operator Manual. Failure to lubricate these systems will void the warranty.
