warrants its shredders to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of
purchase. There is a
lifetime guarantee on the cutting cylinders (1 year on Security
Level 5 and Level 6 models).
This warranty is limited to
repair or replacement, at DAHLE'S option, of defective parts.
Any shredder returned for warranty repair must be shipped
prepaid to DAHLE, or an authorized service center. No shredder
will be accepted without first obtaining a Return Authorization
Number from DAHLE customer service. Customer accepts all
responsibility for the proper packaging as well as any and all
damage resulting from shipping.
This warranty does not cover
accidental or malicious damage. Furthermore, this warranty does
not cover damage caused by improper oiling, paper jams, misuse, abuse, improper line voltage,
fire, theft, water, lightning or other acts of God, or damage
caused by unauthorized attempted repair. This warranty applies
to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. There
are no other warranties expressed or implied beyond the face of
this agreement. |
